Quite possibly one of the most rare sets of original Bausch and Lomb Baltars currently in use today. This set was found in a vault at a major studio still in its original 1930's case and Mitchell Rack Over "pig skin" sound blimp housings. The housings marked with a "15" stamp allowed us to track these down to a camera used by RKO studios from roughly 1935-1945 and responsible for filming the Academy Award nominated film Gunga-Din in 1939 starting Clark Gable. Its very likely that these lenses were used on multiple Howard Hughes films from RKO in the early to mid 1940's
We have lovingly rehoused these in completely original condition. Keeping the original optics, iris, and cells intact. We commisioned this work by Zero Optik, the undisputed leader in Baltar rehousing. Making this set primed and ready for modern filmmaking and breathing life into a new era of classic films. 
All lenses share a 95mm front diameter, and PL mounts. 18.5 and 25mm cover academy35 or 4K UHD on the Alexa 35. 35mm and above cover Full Frame Sensors
